Meet Our Communications Coordinator!

Kayt is a WFN member and has worked with WFN on-and-off since 2015. She has a BA in Psychology from UBCO and is currently pursuing the Advanced Certificate in Communication from OC. Kayt wears many hats at the museum. As the communications coordinator, she handles professional communications and public messaging via email, social media, and the website. She also facilitates the cultural requests process, organizes the Board of Directors Meetings, collaborates on the curation of exhibits, directs, films, and edits videos, takes event photos, runs Sncewips’ informational booth, and facilitates the occasional workshop. Kayt prides herself on her ability to pick-up almost any project and move it forward in a good and productive way. In her downtime, Kayt enjoys hiking, exploring, and plants - she is a proud plant parent to 28 (and counting!). In the winter months, Kayt enjoys staying indoors, painting, doing yoga, watching reality TV, playing videogames, scrolling Reddit, and trying out coffee shops across the Okanagan!
