tmixʷ (all living things) | tmxʷulaxʷ (the land)

Our culture is the land, the living things, all our relations, and our interconnectivity. In curating our newest display, we worked with community to create artistic representations of some of our traditional medicines.

We are beyond excited to share progress on our newest exhibit. Curating an exhibit takes a lot of time and energy. From applying for grants, to facilitating workshops, completing research, curating the display, setting the display up, and finally showcasing it - it takes a village. We are so lucky to have the support of our community and to have received a grant from the BC Arts Council to make our vision a reality.

I encourage you to stop by and check it out, we hope that by bringing our outdoor culture in we can all get a better understanding of our places in the Okanagan and our relationship with the land.

limlemt to everyone who showed up and made this a success. We are beyond grateful for your support. limlemt Eleanor Eli for sharing your knowledge with us, J&N Catering for providing a delicious meal, and Albert Wilson for creating the garden beds!
