Community AGM!
Another year has come and gone along with our Community AGM. We always love coming out, setting up a booth, and mingling with the community. Our community / our people are what make our culture special and we love getting out of the office!
This year we focused on promoting our repatriation efforts and gathering feedback on what community wants from us. More than anything people want workshops and language initiatives - two things we’ve been wanting to amp up ourselves! Keep an eye on our events page in the coming year for new workshops, events, and learning opportunities.
ALSO! We’ve been working closely with Westbank First Nation to hire a Manager of Language & Culture (eep!!) who will work closely with Sncewips to increase the presence of language throughout the community!
