Public Art

Visit our Public Art sites today

Public art displays can be found throughout the Okanagan. Through these works, we showcase the culture, heritage, history, and talent of the syilx people. In this way, we are able to promote syilx culture through the arts, support activities that advance public art, and administer processes for commissioning and/or purchasing additional public art.

In September of 2014, WFN's Public Art Committee established the Public Art Program. The program acts as a collaboration between WFN, practicing artists, and community members. Through this program we creatively address the needs and aspirations of our community as well as acknowledge and promote the syilx people.
